[Tzu - Solar Flare VIP]

I really enjoyed this piece for one specific reason.
The intro synth loop that you had faded in the background; it's the 'perfect sine' in music. It has unlimited potential. And I very much appreciate hearing someone use it. I personally play many many instruments myself, and in all of them this sine is essence in itself to artistry.
Well done.
Ps. I see what you mean by 'sloppy' but still. I enjoyed that particular 'facet of the gem' a lot.

Thanks a lot J03M0N. There are a few patches and sounds that I especially love using, which can really make or break a song. That just happens to be one of my personal favorites which I've used in a few songs now. It really gives off a nice tone no matter how it's blended into the song.

I agree with others. Definitely can feel the time spent, and it brought back good memories. Thoughts of zelda, chrono trigger, some very great scenes in some novels, even some movies. I put this on loop and set it as background music and it fit very well to that also. I wish I had suggestions to improve this work bc striving for perfection is great, but i'm at a loss for anything but the word perfect. Balanced, steady with peak and fall. It has elements of musical artistry in that, you understand the concept of emotional conveyance via flat vs sharp. And if you don't, you have a talent and should familiarize yourself lol

Simply put, rarely do i take the time to write this much on music unless it is worth the thoughts, and this was certainly worth the time and thought.

Yeah, I like making background music. Though, I also like making it complex and deep enough that if you listen to it and focus solely on the music, there's a ton of stuff in there that you can get lost. Of course, complexity isn't ALWAYS good, but...

I loved the first rendition of this song, but this one definately gave me goose bumps. if perfection can be refined, then this is what they would call it.

[Rose At Twilight]

Epic

Ok so i when i heard this song at first i thought MegaMan X. this song totally fits an epic fight of some sort between X and Zero, or more to the point, the lead in song for the actual fight. 10/10 5/5 man. Definitely a nice epic song.
I could also definitely see this being in the Fusion Dragon song in Golden Sun II.
I enjoyed the song too, and its a nice loop, unfortunately NG doesnt seem to support seemless looping features, but it would be perfect if it did.
Suggestion for improvement: Between 1:20-1:50 is slower in the song which is good, but right when you come out of the bridge, doing something like a "solo" with your lead synth would be well in order. from 1:47-1:50 you could do a major rising build, cut it silent and bring out the full potential of your lead synth. it would give it more of an epic feel to the rpgism you have going in the song.
Just some friendly suggestions, but its good the way it is too.

trance blurr

i really do enjoy your style in trance expression. nice warped effect to the thought behind it. i am curious what inspired the name though. i like how you utilized backround beat affect to keep the song interesting even though its the same measures repeated, and cut for the most part.

the name... lol..... my latop that i make this on sits next to a book shelf full of books. There are thousands of books in the room and a lot of them are psychology books and so i just start mixing and matching names from titles of the books i see. kinda weird, and funny...lol.

DUDE ive heard alot of remixes and ppl love to go overboard in the design of them. they become overwhelming and you forget what game it went to. but DUDE!!!! i totally agree with the Mirror's Egde comment! love the game, love the OST and love this song! *downloads* 5/5 10/10 bro. Nice stickin with the game theme.
Specifics. i like guitar contrast with the vocals and synth sounds. and if im not mistaken the vocals almost sound like a similar technique to that of daft punk *also big fan of* you captured the vertigo feeling nicely too, though the piano sound could use a bit more blurr in the fx. just my opinion from one fan to another. Great Job

and yes I agree with some ppl making the song too much of themselves, but, some people really like it when people get super creative! I love to hear that stuff too sometimes :) it depends on the music track I suppose!
